Because I spend so much time comparing
supply prices & service of many businesses,
for my personal use as well as my art club
where I teach, I have made a list of favorite
supply resources to post here for you...I use
these online stores (below) most often
depending on the current sales. Every penny
counts!! Jennifer Googins
The best deals I've found online..
This site has great deals on bulk/class
packs of many art supplies. Including class
furniture, craft kits, gallon sized paints, bulk
brush and painting accessory packs. Most
of the site focuses on children's art
supplies and accessories, with on going
clearance and sales specials.
I really am impressed with their fast
shipping. The Quickest I've tried so far. (3-5
days)
It's always cheaper to order your kids Crayola
art supplies (and even some adult) directly
from the company itself!
If you're buying small amounts of supplies
or need it today I suggest...
Walmart for the cheapest retail prices on
canvas boards/stretched canvas, paint and
brushes when buying individually. Their
selection however is a lot smaller than
specialty stores.
For variety and knowledgeable customer
service, (great for the beginners) I would
choose Michaels. I generally look in the
Sunday paper for their weekly sales. They
have "40-50% off one item" sales a lot, which
is the perfect time to buy that big ticket item
you've been wanting!
Have fun and remember, sales can change
daily! Spending a few minutes checking
current clearance deals before buying is
generally well worth it. Jennifer Googins
